CCL JapanはJapan Climate Initiative（気候変動イニシアチブ）の目標に賛同し、市民団体ではありますが、以下の目標を団体の所在地事務所のみならず、各メンバーの家庭等で実現することを誓います。

1.2030年までに、「GHG又はCO2排出46%以上の削減（2013年比）」または、「自らの利用電力の40%以上を再生可能エネルギーに切り替え」

2.JCI宣言に記載する国全体としての2050年までのGHG実質排出ゼロ、2030年までのGHG半減へのチャレンジ、2030年再生可能エネルギー電力を40～50%のいずれかの実現にむけて取組むこと
